The Lazer Stik can be switched from Steady-On to Flashing Mode by simply flipping the battery. Over 40 hours of light is available from one set of three A76/LR44 batteries, over 75 hours of light is produced in flashing mode. Considering the replacement batteries costs less than a non-reusable chemical sticks, that the Lazer Stik offers cold weather operation, and that the user can control the light chemical sticks are no longer the logical choice.
