The rugged SureFire G2 Flashlight is housed and further protected in an aluminum sleeve. The Sleeve is attached to a "mandrel". When ordered separately, the Tactical Light Mandrel replaces the standard M203 grip or RM Rail Grip Mandrel. The M203 grip Tactical Light Module is compatible with Surefire Tip Off Filter Kits and Surefire 1 Watt and 5 Watt LED Heads.
